Videodance, complexity and periphery. Towards a possible platform for the analysis of dance in interaction with technology, presents a range of approaches to dance in interaction with technology whose substratum is found in some of the theoretical currents that have had the greatest development and effectiveness in thestudy of art in general, and of cinema, video and the arts of the movement, in particular, in recent years.

The review of Kantian aesthetic theory, the systemic paradigm inaugurated by Humberto Maturana, the gaze on the phenomena of intertextuality and the conception of the corporeal in the framework of semiosis as conceived by socio-semiotic theory , the new conceptions on mediatization and narrativity, and Critical Theory, are the lines of approach chosen to observe the singularity of dance in interaction with technology, in the framework of contemporary art.
